Not your average PVE D/W
I just finished working my way through the Realm of Torment with my Dervish and thought I'd share the build I used through it. I found It was far more survivable and had far greater utility than my Warrior, and perhaps has some great unchecked solo potential. Anyways, here goes:
Scythe Mastery: 16
Mysticism: 12
Tactics: the rest.
(I know, I know, no earth prayers. Keep reading)
Weapon: Zealous when in combat, enchanting when heading in. Both would be keen, but I switch from Dwaynas Grace to Eyes of the Forgotten.
Build
1. Avatar of Dwayna (Non stop healing when skills are spammed and hex removal)
2. Wild Blow (Remove up to three stances? Yes please.)
3. Mystic Sweep (No brainer)
4. "Watch Yourself!"
5. "Fear Me!" (two shouts with no cast time that are adrenal charged and very spammable, and can be used while knocked down or while in the middle of another skill)
6. Mystic Vigor (the use is threefold, charge up mystic sweep, help keep you healed and a way to remove hexes that isn't a shout)
7. Eternal Aura (Nonstop Dwayna and respectable damage to boot.)
8. This one is open, I tend to take either enchant removal, Heart of Fury or a res.
All the shouts can be charged almost immediately if you're hitting two targets, because they are 4 adrenaline each, so one swing+mystic sweep will do it.
This would also likely work quite while as D/P with GFtE, antidote signet and a res, some low energy shout or enchant removal.
After making this build I found Torment creature packs to be a cakewalk and quite easily H/Hed masters in all the Realm of Torment missions.
The only thing to look out for is Margonite Warlocks as they cast well of silence, kill them first and it's easy. Even shout-affecting hexes don't matter, if you see one just cast an attack skill or Mystic Vigor.
If anyone has any suggestions for the build please let me know.

this is another good use of eternal aura!
i have capped all of the Avatars and now switch them in and out depending on area. another good addition for d/w is the warrior sunspear skill as it will also use that rapidly charging adrenaline plus it will allow your vigor to strike more than 3 enemies at once working in combo for massive spot heal!

Seems like a really low damage build. You only have 2 offensive skills, one which doesn't provide any +damage. Using those shouts just to heal yourself with Dwayna is wasteful. At least use something that'd benefit you, like "Rush". If you're using Avatar of Dwayna, you really don't need any more selfhealing. But with a good monk or two, you won't need any selfhealing at all. All I can say is use more attack skills.

Actually the shouts aren't for healing, you get enough of that from pounding on mobs with Mystic Vigor while enchanted with Heart of Fury. The shouts are primarily to counter the absurd hex spam in Realm of Torment. In areas with less hexing I would often switch out a shout for Eremites attack/Victorious Sweep.
Don't get me wrong, the extra healing is nice and removes a great burden from the monks, but being able to remove fainheartedness, blurred vision, deep freeze, ice spikes, scourge enchantment and defenders zeal all in the time a monk could remove one or two hexes max is pretty handy in my opinion.

Hex removal is helpful, but there's many other ways to trigger Dwayna's effects. The point I was making is that besides triggering Dwayna, those shouts really don't do anything at all. You're better off trading them for attack skills or somethin that'd benefit you. With only 1-2 attack skills and no offensive skills, you're better being replaced by an ele or a different high-damage class. The strength of Avatar of Dwayna is that it's mass healing and hex removal in one skill, leaving the rest of your bar open to damage and utility. Instead you added more defensive skills, which isnt taking advantage of your elite.

Lower your Scythe to 11+1+2
Your mysticism to 10+2
Then raise your tactics to 10. This way your WY! and FM! spam will actually be useful for your team.

Good points, thanks for the input.
The main reason I picked those two is because they're adrenaline based shouts so they could be used in nearly any situation and charged very easily, while energy could be saved for attack skills and enchants.
Perhaps I should look more closely at Paragon skills with this, but I love Wild Blow in PVE so much.

There is only one spammable shout in Para's line: Go for the Eyes. Will improve damage output of physical attackers of your party, but you will have only one shout and no protection for them.
If your 8th slot is still open, put the second Faction PVE skill, Aura of Holy Might.
It combines quite well with Eternal aura as it is recharged. I would also replace Mystic vigor with Heart of fury, as it will be recharged by Eternal aura so you will be able to keep it up constantly.
This way you'll have a dervish with +33% attack speed increase, +21% damage, Hex free, and self healing a lot.

If you wan't easily-spammable skills, replace your shouts with these:
[skill]Armor of Sanctity[/skill][skill]Rush[/skill]
Armor of Sanctity makes a good cover enchantment for Mystic Vigor. Since this build seems to be made for Torment areas, you'll know that they carry a few disenchantment skills.

Why mystic's sweep and mystic vigor in a build where you only have 1 enchantment guaranteed on you constantly? I can see vigor for healing but mystic's sweep? +7 damage or so?

It was more for the super quick build up of adrenaline, if I was hitting 2 foes at once and buffered the mystic after an autoattack I would instantly have enough adrenaline for "WY!" and "FM!", in retrospect Eremites would have been better.
